In Paris, Novák finished fourth and Ambruž eighth. The aircraft was further modified, the rudder was enlarged and the upper wing was fitted with winglets. This version was already marked Ba 122. For the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, the Ba.122 was equipped with a more powerful nine-cylinder Avia Rk-17 or Walter Pollux engine. Here Široký came second, Novák third and Ambruž eighth.
