In 1945, Aero restarted production of the Bü 131 to meet the needs of the Czechoslovak Air Force for training aircraft. Initial production, designated the Aero C-4, was powered by the Hirth HM 504A engine, with deliveries starting in April 1946. After building 20–30 C-4s, production switched to the Aero C-104, powered by the Czechoslovak Walter Minor 4-III engine. Production continued until 1949, with 260 built. Read more
