The Caudron C-714 was a light fighter aircraft used during World War II. The aircraft was of all-wood construction. The prototype with retractable landing gear flew in 1938. It was mass-produced from 1939 with a Renault 12R 03 engine with a power of 500 hp and with an armament of 4 7.5 mm machine guns under the wings. During the fighting in France, they were also flown by Polish and Czechoslovak pilots. Several machines were sold to Finland and captured machines were also used by the Luftwaffe. One original and restored aircraft is exhibited in the museum in Kraków. Read more
