The AS6 Envoy first flew in June 1934. The aircraft's construction was all-wood. The canvas cover was reinforced with aircraft plywood in exposed areas. The wingspan of these machines was 15.94 meters and the fuselage length was 10.53 meters. With a maximum take-off weight of 2860 kg and a cruising speed of 265 km/h (max. 300 km/h), which was high for its time, the range with six passengers was up to 1020 km.
