The serial aircraft were assigned to the training squadron of the 4th Aviation Regiment in Hradec Králové and to the VLU in Prostějov and Cheb. After the division of the republic and the occupation in March 1939, the Bš.122.27 and Bš.122.44 aircraft remained in Slovakia. In 1940, another 4 aircraft were purchased in Germany, 122.11.12 and 122.37 and 39. They were then used for training, probably at the Aviation School in Trenčín. Another 12 aircraft were sold by the Germans to Bulgaria, where they were also used for training. Shortly after the occupation, the Luftwaffe also used the aircraft for training.
